Can you deliver the training online?

Yes and no….

Many of our courses can be delivered online, and we can create and provide bespoke training, including online courses or recorded workshops.

LivingWorks ASIST and safeTALK cannot be delivered online and must be delivered in face-to-face training. Nurture Training must also be delivered in person.

Do we need prior qualifications to do the suicide intervention training?

No qualifications required! The training is designed for anyone to be able to take part. You do not need to have any previous training or skills. Having said that, it is also suitable for people who do have other qualifications or skills, including counsellors, psychologists, medical professionals and emergency services.

I am worried that talking about suicide will put my staff at risk. Will it?

This is a very common concern, but all the research shows that open and honest conversations about suicide reduce the risk of suicide. You can always speak to us in confidence before we deliver training if there is anyone you are particularly worried about.
